RDO Pro Sensor
The In-Situ® RDO® PRO process optical dissolved oxygen sensor uses the latest technology to measure dissolved oxygen (DO) in demanding environments. The RDO PRO sensor offers several advantages for monitoring DO in process applications:
Robust and Reliable
- Inert construction will not corrode in high salinity samples.
- Insensitive to common interferences such as hydrogen sulfide, chloride, chlorine, ammonium, and many others
Simple Design
- Requires only 8 to 36 VDC power — No costly external transmitters or controllers needed.
- Easy sensor configuration — Calibration coefficients are loaded into the sensor cap.
Cost Effective
- Includes complete instrument with a standard 10-m cable.
- Includes integral 4-20 mA, Modbus/ RS485, and SDI-12 signal outputs.
- Eliminates the need for a separate, costly transmitter/controller.
Accurate Results
- ±0.1 mg/L accuracy from 0 to 8 mg/L DO; ±0.2 mg/L accuracy from 8 to 20 mg/L DO
- Fast response to oxygen and temperature changes
- Consistent, reproducible results (< 0.05 mg/L reproducibility)
Applications
- Aquaculture operations
- Dam discharge applications
- Food/beverage process control
- Municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants
