Tubetests® Reagent System
The Palintest Tubetest® range of tests covers the principal parameters needed for environmental control of waters, effluents and waste waters. In particular they cover the testing requirements of the UK Urban Waste Water Directive and equivalent legislation in other countries.
The Tubetest® Reagent System has been formulated to provide water scientists with a complete scheme of water analysis. The result - easy to perform analytical tests without the time consuming chore of making-up and dispensing chemical reagents. All of the chemicals needed are pre-dispensed into test tubes or supplied in convenient form. Not only are the tests accurate and precise but contact with potentially hazardous materials is kept to an absolute minimum.
The procedures are all based on standard or accepted methods of laboratory analysis. They are designed to meet user's complete requirements for conformity testing and analytical quality control.
The Tubetests® Range
The Tubetests® range includes all of the main parameters needed for water and effluent monitoring, and for the testing of agricultural runoff and leachate from landfill sites.
Ammonia (Ammonia Nitrogen) is one of the main constituents of effluent streams. The Tubetests® Reagent System offers a choice of test methods based on the traditional Nessler method or the more recent Indophenol procedure. For further classification of the nitrogen cycle, tests are available for both Nitrate (Nitrate Nitrogen) and Total Nitrogen.
Phosphates promote eutrophication in natural waters. Testing for this parameter is therefore important for environmental control. Tubetests® tests are both offered for both Phosphate (Phosphate Phosphorus) and for Total Phosphorus.
