Micro 500 TDS Meter
The measurement of total dissolved solids (TDS) is important in a number of applications - in particular industrial waters and swimming pools. The total dissolved solids concentration bears a close relationship to the conductivity of the water. TDS measurement is therefore most commonly carried out using instruments which determine the conductivity and then display the result in terms of total dissolved solids concentration. TDS instruments use the relationship:
TDS (mg/l)=Conductivity (µS) x 0.7.
The multi-range PT 142 Micro 500 TDS Meter by Palintest suitable for a wide variety of applications. The meter has a manual temperature compensation control and is fitted with a rugged TDS probe for laboratory or field use. Features the same four-ring probe as described for conductivity meter PT 144. The meter is supplied in a soft carrying pouch.
