Micro 500 Conductivity Meter
The Micro 500 Conductivity Meter by Palintest is a multi-range instrument which will cover applications from deionized water through to brine. The instrument provides automatic temperature compensation and also features a temperature coefficient control. The latter enables the instrument to be set for solutions where the temperature coefficient differs from that of water.
The rugged conductivity probe is cleverly designed to overcome the problems of polarization and contamination which often beset conductivity sensor has four steel rings arranged concentrically one above each other. An alternating current is generated by a voltage applied to the external rings and the stray field produced in the liquid by this current is picked up through the internal rings. The instrument is supplied in a soft carrying case.
