TOC (Total Organic Carbon)

Since the early 1970s, TOC has been recognized as an analytic technique to measure water quality during the drinking water purification process. TOC measurements include material derived from decaying vegetation, bacterial growth, and metabolic activities of living organisms or chemicals.
