When ordering products from eStore or the Client Domain, you provide information to Aquatic Life™ to process the order that you made. Specifically, you provide your name, billing address (and possibly shipping address if it differs from your billing address), contact information, payment information (credit card information, PO Number, etc.) and any particular instructions required for shipping. We also ask for multiple contact types to allow us to confirm that any substantial purchase made through eStore or the Client Domain is the legitimate purchaser to ensure non-fraudulant purchasing. Here at Aquatic Life™, we believe in assuring security to the party purchasing.
When submitting feedback via our feedback form, we ask for your name, address, contact information, application type, product type inquiring about, and any question you have regarding your testing needs. We need the contact information to respond to your inquiry that was questioned in the feedback. We also use this information to help us define what testing needs and parameters are required by the inquiring party. We may also use the information to provide updates about products, testing needs and information that you may have inquired about that we feel could benefit you as well as updates of our web site. If you prefer not to receive this information, please email us at aquatic@aquaticlife.ca specifying to remove your name from our email list.
When you place an order with Aquatic Life™, your information is sent through a secure line from your computer to our database via an encryption method called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). All information sent via this method is encrypted before it is sent from your computer. Once we recover the data from our database, we delete the data in the database and retain your information only in our office.
Outside Use of Information Collected
Any information collected from feedback forms, eStore and the Client Domain is not sold, traded or rented to any organization outside of Aquatic Life Ltd. However, this information may be forwarded to the manufacturers of the product if distribution of the product is handled by them in your particular location or if we feel that it would best suit your needs to deal directly the the manufacturer. Your information may be shared between companies created from Aquatic Life™.
Updating or Changing Account Status
